I am discovering more and more surprising things about you guys everyday... there was i thinking Angmar was a spruce thirty-year old, and Gordis a reclusive old lady with two cats. I don't know where I got those impressions but I did... ;D Good post, Angmar... Authon was starting to sound like Belzagar's therapist, which made me laugh...

So, Rian, What have you decided about Arinya?
-Will she go in haste after the party? (then you save her biting comment for a later scene with Gimilbeth and tell instead how she departs)
-Will she stay? Then I will amend Arinya's position and make her stay near the gates in my previous post.

I haven't decided yet - it isn't holding up the rpg, and the posts can be easily amended. I'm re-reading the whole story now because all the events of the last few months have made me lose a lot of the details (like Tarniel not going on the trip!) My thought is that she'll stay with Tarniel, because I don't really see anything for her to do once she goes on the trip, but I'm not sure yet. I'll let you know soon, as soon as I catch up with the story.

I don't know where I got those impressions but I did... ;D Spruce thirty-year-old? Hmmmm.... Think along the lines of Chris Lee or Ian McKellan. They would be a lot closer to the real thing. ;D Reclusive old lady with two cats. I think of Gordis as being a lovely young woman with charming pets. ;D Of course, now everyone, with the exception of people of the age of the two gentlemen above, seems young. At least someone is older than I am. That is some consolation. ;D Good post, Angmar... Authon was starting to sound like Belzagar's therapist, which made me laugh... That is what he was supposed to sound like. *laughs* I think Belzagar was beginning to feel the noose tightening around his neck, but His Majesty salvaged him with a few telepathic messages from afar.

Well, I'm glad neither you nor Angmar took offense... although that thank you does look a bit strained...

No, no offence taken , Serenoli. And I don't have a single pet now - my last cat died last year and being a vagabond middle-aged lady (and not a reclusive one) I can't get a new cat - too difficult to ask people to keep it while I am away...

Gordis - I've decided that Arinya is going to stay behind for now. That makes more sense for her to stay with her pupil. So put her wherever will work - I'd like Gimilbeth to be close enough to hear, but I like how Tarnendur reacts, too, so let me know what you think will work out and we'll fix the posts up. I thought the anger in her look was only due to her dislike of elves, NOT due to believing the message. I like the glee, but I think there would be anger there, too, seeping out at the elf she believes to be snooping around, so if it's OK, I'll keep that - if you want it out, though, out it goes! Let me know. ps - I edited Arinya's post a bit, and then edited her quote in your post - I just added an "of course" to the beginning. Whew, you're handing me an interesting opening! (and you know I love Gondolin, of course!

ps - I wrote in a bit about it being uncertain if Glorfy is even back in ME or not - do you guys have any preference about that? When was the first "documented" Glorfy sighting after the Fall of Gondolin, anyway?
