As for the RP, it has very many characters and a plot already more or less agreed upon - the main signposts of it, at least.

This part of the roleplay takes place at a new spot and introduces a lot of new characters at once - all the Arthedain side, and Cardolan delegation that is on the way. It won't be difficult to get in a new character, or take one already introduced, that has to be played by someone anyway.
In short the political side of it is like that:
The Dunedain King of Rhudaur, Tarnendur, has very little troops and other resources to counter the rebel Hillmen in his realm and, especially, their new leader, Broggha (this one secretly supported by Angmar). So Tarnendur decides to placate them by giving Broggha a place on the Council of Rhudaur and some land of his own: County of Pennmorva.
Meanwhile, Tarnendur tries to get military assistance against Hillmen: from Arthedain (King Malvegil) and Gondor (King Romendacil). So he sends his eldest daughter Gimilbeth to Amon Sul, to use the Palantir there - to ask for help and to have a good look around as well. In return for assistance, Gimilbeth will propose to the Heir's Heir of Arthedain - young Beleg, the future Arveleg I, to marry Tarnendur's youngest daughter Tarniel.
Meanwhile, another delegation heads to Amon Sul from Cardolan. The last Dunedain King there had died heirless, so the delegation's aim is to use the palantir to learn -officially - that the Cardolan Kings had no relatives left in Gondor. Also, the Head of the Delegation, the Prince of Baranduin, the highest noble of Cardolan, wants to assess Malvegil's possible reaction if he claims the crown himself. And some in the delegation want Arnor reunited under Arthedain.
Also there is a gray-clad old man in blue hat that has just come to Amon Sul from the North - the very first appearance of Gandalf in the story.
At the fortress itself, there is the Warden Annundil, whose family came from Fornost for the Yule. It is Annundil's daughter Sulawen, her husband Celebrindol, Heir of King Malvegil (future Argeleb I), and their children, including Beleg, the future Arveleg I.
That is where we are now.
As for the beginning of the RP, I suggest you to read it following the links below, if you have time and are interested. It has been made into a coherent story, with chapter titles and all.
