Hey there one and all! I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself to you all.
At time of writing, I'm 34 (not quite an old man yet!) and from London, England. I've been interested in fantasy genres for many years now, starting off when I was in my early teens playing text based games on my BBC computer. Then at University, I feel in love with MUDs and have played, immorted and administered many MUDs over the following 10 years. About three years ago, I wrote and created RPG Forums Online which was a major project for me for many months. About two years ago, I sold the site and made a few $s on it, which was nice. And now, I've started The Hobbit Forums...which I guess is "history to be written".
Other than my "fantasy life", I'm a massive fan of hard rock and heavy metal, browsing the Internet and digital photography.
So that's me!

I guess I should say hello here. I found this board from a link from Council of Elrond. Being interested in all things Dunedain, I decided to sign in to this board.
Pleased to meet you all! From what I can tell by my quick walkabout, this board is dedicated to a single RP story?

Hello Arassuil - and welcome! Yes - most of us met on a different board, and were involved there in a rather interesting, but tricky, RPG. Due largely (we believe) to a couple volatile personalities involved along with us, that game had a "crash and burn" - and a bit later, this site was created as sort of a haven for this game - with others perhaps to follow. Your participation here is welcome. Once you've looked around enough for your own satisfaction, let us know if you'd like to join in the game-playing itself. |
