Hi, all! I've just gone through and read through your roleplay. It's been quite enjoyable, so far, and I'm looking forward to further material.
I was also vaguely interested in joining in. For a long time, I've amused myself occasionally with the idea of a kind of Tolkien/Fritz Leiber crossover, where characters who are roman Ă clef versions of Leiber's Fafhrd and Grey Mouser wander around Middle-earth at just around this time in the Third Age. The basic idea is that the Grey Mouser character would have grown up in the streets of Pelargir, of largely non-DĂșnedain blood (presumably his blood will be largely from the men of the vales of the White Mountains, who I've always assumed are related to the Dunlendings and the men of Bree), while the Fafhrd character would be a Northman of Rhovanion. They'd essentially be freelance adventurers, interested in making money, seducing wenches, and fighting the good fight.
My idea for this roleplay would be that they're former soldiers of Gondor who've just gotten into some trouble in Osgiliath (the Fafhrd character is a distant maternal relation of Eldacar and they've somehow gotten on Castamir's bad side), and they decide to head to Arnor to wait for things to cool down, and hopefully see some action in the process.
Since I'm not actually creative enough, I fear, to come up with a good story of my own to put them in, I thought I might try them out here, if you all don't mind. I'm pretty open to setting them anywhere in the story that the established writers see fit. I was thinking they might take service with Tarnendur (they're basically good guys - I don't think Angmar or Broggha would appeal much), but I'm not sure - I've gotten kind of a character intro in Tharbad half-thought out in my head. Anyway, let me know if my (and their) services would be of interest, and in what capacity.

Welcome, Duilin! Great that you have read all our story! I had no idea what characters you were speaking about, though but I have checked it out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fafhrd_and_the_Gray_MouserA pair of roguish guys selling their swords to Tarnendur? Why not? I think they will fit in prettily, as long as you keep them 100 % MiddleEarth-ian, regardless of what story you have borrowed them from.

Hi Duilin! Also - please note that we pre-date Eldacar and Castamir (at least their "kin-strife") by about 100 years. (Hmmm... grandparents... of your future characters??) Welcome aboard though!
