Hmm...lank apparently means, when referring to hair, "straight and limp; without spring or curl." That's probably it, I imagine. Sounds about right - Amdír is probably kept too busy by his father to spend much time making sure his hair has body. Yes, that's what I meant. I had no idea the word was American. I'll better change to "straight". I imagine Amdir as a pale bookworm, you know, always working with books and scrolls for his father.

I've (finally) posted Voronwen's enlarged Kirael-Nimraen post. For clarity's sake I've put all that I've added in blue. Ah, no worries. All water under the bridge now. That's up to you, of course. Although you may just as well hang on to her, there are public characters aplenty to write for. And if anyone wants to put up a post for a servant girl, there's always Sirien who is already a public character.

Great post, Duilin - your Amdir is an eloquent man. One minor thing that probably needs changing: "But in it Amlaith of Fornost renounces his claim to the thrones of Cardolan and Rhudaur in favor of his brothers" In 861 there were as yet no thrones of these lands, so maybe it will be better to just write: claim to the lands of Cardolan and Rhudaur. Now my problm is that I am leaving i an hour until 29.08. Perhaps you could finish your post with Gimilbeth agreeing to sent a message to her father to ask his opinion? Just one paragraph...

Does anyone want to add anything to Vorondariel's top-of-tower experience before i bring her down?

I feel as though there might have been some business with other characters that we wanted to take care of, but I'm not sure...originally, I think, Beleg and Herunarth and Duilin were supposed to end up going up to the top as well, so we probably need to edit the original post, or something - but it's been a while so I don't firmly remember the details of what we were planning.

Duilin was surely supposed to follow the group to the roof - with or without Beleg, to investigate the ways down to the Palantir chamber. . I think you have to write a Duilin post, Duilin! Glad to "see" you, BTW!
