A very nice Nimraen post, Voronwen! I guess you can add something about the dangers of Tamyris's task . If Gimilbeth finds a cat missing or (Eru forbid) dead, she will simply MURDER the cat minder along with half the palace staff. And as the cats are used to wander the fortress on their own and hunt in the garden at night, it is really quite difficult to look after them. Moreover the other servants hate and fear the cats (Beruthiel's story is rather fresh still) . Also, I don't think Gimilbeth ever uses Nimraen for conversation. The princess is very reserved and secretive by nature, and doesn't even consider Nimraen as another human being. She gives her curt orders and expects them to be carried out diligently, without questions and comments. That is why Nimraen is so eager to have a good chat with other servants.

A very nice Nimraen post, Voronwen! TY! Haha! Sure, i'll add something about that! OK, i'll revise that part. ETA, All done. I just need to wait for my husband to get home to resize her avatar, as i don't have the means to do so on my own computer. I should be able to have it up by later tonight.

I've gone back to working on Vorondariel's post. I won't promise the moon but it shouldn't be too long now before it's up.

Just added a little bit more. Would the Elves want to post anything, before i go on? Or, does anyone else play Gandalf? Any additions anyone wants to make are OK with me!

Nice beginning- I like it. Would the Elves want to post anything, before i go on? Or, does anyone else play Gandalf? About Elves ask Rian, but remember that additions or edits could be easily inserted later. Val wrote for Gandalf before, maybe he would add something.

Nice beginning- I like it. She is a silly romantic, isn't she? So enamored of the past. I want to get across that she is simply a young girl with a big imagination and a rather romanticized passion for history ;D I want to avoid her experiences coming across as 'weird' in any way (ie. she is not Voronwen reincarnated, nor are any actual ghosts from the past going to visit her, or anything crazy like that ). Her imagination is what i want to focus in on, in her experiences and her reactions to them, etc. I want to capture that feeling of being a young girl with only ideals and dreams of other places and times as her romantic loves, and her driving force. I hope this is coming across, but if there's anything you can suggest to get it across even more clearly, please let me know. Eventually, i want to put Vorondariel to good use somehow within the story, if all of you would agree on that. Not in any way that she needs to become an 'important' character at all, but i just don't want her to be totally useless but for all that she potentially has to offer to ultimately lead up to something of substance. My plans for her are to eventually 'mature' her a little, as time goes on. Perhaps all of this romanticism of hers evolves into something a little bit more realistic and useful. Perhaps she becomes a historian (at least amateur - as her duties as a lady-in-waiting probably don't leave her with enough free time for much more - and arguably she is already that), or in some other way she can actually do something small yet significant to who she is, for the greater good, in her own way... perhaps she helps to save an artifact or something along those lines (ideas are welcome . Of course, the romanticism remains her driving inner force but she will have the chance to grow up a little. I also plan for her to eventually find a real living man, haha! A man who is like a man from the past, who fits her ideal. But that would hinge upon whether my husband wants to come here and create a character If not, well, she might simply become a teacher/librarian type, a sort of young spinster, married only to her books and her dreams of the past.

I have no edits, but um... while trying not to sound too egoistic or demanding, can I request that I'm at least asked before my character is used extensively in a post without me writing for her? There just seems to be little point in role playing otherwise. I guess you can add something about the dangers of Tamyris's task . Mmmaybe I better have her be really careful with it, to avoid any royal wrath.

I was just doing what i was told. It's entirely possible however that i misunderstood the directions. ETA, the post is gone.
