Very good post, Gordis! I like how you write for the Nazgul - it seems very realistic. Val - the king and your women are waiting for you ... (just in case you forgot ... right! ) Yeah - sorry, it keeps getting deferred by RL. Angmar - you know, I still haven't posted the history here. I need to. Right now there's only a link to a "One Ring..." thread.

Val, please post your history. Then we would have it all in one convenient place.

Gordis - I was just looking thru the PJ thread, and the last post I could find with Gimilbeth's group was on Nov. 8. Is she supposed to actually arrive at Amon Sul in this thread? That would be a good closing post for PJ (Perilous Journeys), and you could make a nice closing line that references the title. I will think on such a post, Rian, thanks for the suggestion. But first we have to finish the nazgul talk and Hyarion's plotline. And you and Val have to finish Caelen-Rildurien quarrel. And Serenoli also prepares a post. So it will take some time for PJ to come to a close.

Gordis, yes, it has been a little slow around here. I think everyone is tied up with work, school, and other things. I know I have been.

I have my Caelen/Rildorien post all ready to go, but am waiting for Val to post first, but his son has had asthma problems and was in the hospital (:
In the mean time, I've got an A&T post forming in my head.

Thank you for posting, Angmar! Nice post, also!
It will be a tad difficult for me to continue, though - as I have no idea of your further intentions. What does Alassar really know? I guess he understood what kind of dagger it might have been....Will he report to the King?

Gordis, mostly I wanted to get Hyarion on his way to Carn Dum. I think Alassar would have a vague idea what kind of dagger it was. The girl will be examined by a physician in the fortress, who would be puzzled as to what her ailment would be. Perhaps Angmar might have a look at her then and he would know. I don't think the girl will leave the fortress, or at least that is the way I am thinking about it now.

Okay, I've posted another, very expositional, post over in the second part (although I imagine at some point it will need to be moved to the the third part - I'm not going to use my precious, precious limited internet time to move them all to the appropriate places while I'm here - I'll attend to it when I get back home in late October, I guess). It introduces some of the Cardolan characters. Let me know what you think.

Awesome post, Duilin - you have a gift to tell about rather boring political schemes in a really captivating manner! And I adored this: "Exactly the sort of look those high Dúnadan lords, the ones with the blood of old Elendil in them – always had – even the ones who were dumb as a brick, or nasty snakes like Castamir looked for all the world like wise philosopher kings until they opened their mouths.... No matter how sly and conniving a Dúnadan prince might be, he never looked like he was." ;D ;D So true!
