Yay, people like Hurgon!!
Attacked by guilt, I now go to write a post for him... don't want to have the death of Queen of Imladris on my hands...

A review for Rian. - so you see people do like CC's! From Tolkiern Fanfiction Title: Chapter 3. Last Preparations Reviewer: Formegil Signed Well, this was very good chapter, though it could have been longer. I like the way you depict the dark rituals and beliefs. It's not cheesy or unbelievable as in some stories. And as usual, your characterization is brilliant, I liked the episode between Caelen and Callon. I hope you'll update soon. Will Eryndil (and Algeirr with his friends) be featured soon again?
By the way, may I use the place names mentioned in this story (such as Cameth Brin and Penmorva River) in one of my stories? It would save me some work, since I intend to set only a few chapters in Rhudaur.

Yay! I got a nice review, I got a nice review *dances around* Funny chapter for them to like - maybe it was the dialogue style they liked (I made it very terse, without lots of description). Anyway, I'll go respond

Ok, I see you already responded, Gordis - that's good Yes, quite a bit about Algeirr coming up soon ... I was able to log in NKW, and I see the "write a review" button, but how do you do an "author's response"?

Ok, I see you already responded, Gordis - that's good Yes, quite a bit about Algeirr coming up soon ... I was able to log in NKW, and I see the "write a review" button, but how do you do an "author's response"? Yes, sorry, I have already responded - as there was an important question about the place names. When the review is still unanswered, there is a button "respond". Now it is gone and we have "delete" instead. But don't press "delete", because then not only the reply, but the review itself will be deleted (Val has done it once ) So now, it you want to add something to Formegil, please, just write a new review. You can log in as "NKW" and sign "Rian" or, alternatively, you can register your very own account. Only make it clear you are one of the auhors of the fic.

HA-HA, Rian - would you you believe it? Another review for you, this time on OSA! Please, respond to it right here yourself, and I shall post it there. ;D On OSA they have very strict rules against several people using one account, so you won't be able to log in. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Xenarwen 19 Jul 2008 18:05 Great story! I love Hurgon and Caelen. I hope she will be fine without her brother, but something tells me it is not to be... And Aganalo is sooo creepy! EEK! i am afraid of vampires and have never thought of nazguls in this way... Post more, pleasy- please...

Three is a charm... ;D The Shadow over Rhudaur. Part I - "Runnings" (PG-13) by NKW. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Xenarwen:Awesome thriller! I laughed and I gasped in horror and I cried for Caelen and poor Kvigr and for Algeirr as well, because he had no choice and I doubt not he will pay for his cowardice... I hope the story will not turn too grim in the end, because I can't imagine someone like Tarniel being forced to marry this sadistic brute Brogga! Maybe Gandalf was mistaken after all? I love Odaragariel with her long name and short stature, her good humour and so ordinary face. She is my favorite girl in the story and I hope she will be spared in the end. Yea, and the prologue is simply perfect! It is like a missing chapter from the Lord of the Rings. I wouldn't be able to tell it was not written by Tolkien himself! Who is to reply to this one? Maybe you, Serenoli? Odare is the fav. girl of the reviewer, after all...

Yay!! It makes me happy to know that someone enjoys my creation, too! Thanks for the info about the respond button, and your response was just fine! I was just wondering how it was done, and now I know. I might go add something later. He's sure keeping up with the story! As far as Xenarwen, let's let Serenoli reply to the last one - I just love Odare, too - I miss her at CB and hope she can come back! Hmm, how about something like this for a reply to Xenarwen's first comment (does she know Runnings comes first? Her comments are a bit confusing - they seem out of order ..) Hi Xenarwen! My name is Rian, and I write for Callon and Caelen - or the CCs, as we call them. I'm not sure how Caelen will do without her brother - as our favorite writer, JRR Tolkien said, sometimes the story just seems to write itself! It's already surprised me with a few of the turns it's taken, and I can't see her long-term future yet. As for the short-term, there's definitely some adventures ahead of her! Hopefully, she won't have to meet Agannalo, though - he creeps me out, too! Anyway, something like that? I don't know - I like how you write your responses. Go ahead and edit mine how you think would be best.

Very fine reply, Rian! I shall only add "thank you for reviewing" We must encourage them to write more reviews. The read count is high - more than a thousand in some places - but the reviews are so few... I go post...
