On the other hand; far north, winter, short days... great times for Orcs! Even when the sun is out, it's at a low angle, so the rays are not all that direct. It's no wonder that both Thangorodrim and Angmar were in the north - and that the worst Orc attack on the Shire in recent memory at Bilbo's time was from a wintertime. So... do we expect Orc activity to rise between now and the Yule?

So... do we expect Orc activity to rise between now and the Yule? Val, this company of orcs is in the South for a specific mission - kidnap the Princess - and they won't stay around long after that. While Broggha would probably like to have more of them to work his mischief, I don't know if that would add or detract from the main story. What do the rest of you think?

I think this particular company is doomed to suffer great losses in the actual unsuccessful attack on Nov 5. Perhaps Ashuk will return to Angmar, or some reinforcements will be send to the Trollshaws - I don't know - it is up to the Witch King, I guess Only please, keep my orc admirer alive! ;D

Serenoli = do you want to write the ride scene?
Val = I'd prefer that C&C arrive before Eryndil, because that would make the marriage ruse more feasible for him to have done, I think. Please also write in that Eryndil receives a note from Callon about his marriage/pregnancy ruse, asking Eryndil and his men to keep up the ruse for him. I think that will take care of it - let me know what you think.
Gordis - why don't you go ahead with the next Algeirr scene - it involves your characters more than mine, and Gimilbeth will have to decide what to do, and I don't want to write for her.

But however many of them do not survive, there will be at least one who does. Saakaf the lovestruck orc will live to tell the tale. ;D

Gordis asked that CC's arrive the 21st (you've currently posted the 22nd) - and that E arrive the 22nd. I thought the request was for the other way around. I can do whatever though - I was just trying to do it so you wouldn't have to re-post (since I'm the one who's having to get squeezed in). As for Callon's "ruse" - either he had it thought out in advance (even if he didn't share it with Caelen, which seems unlikely) - or he did it on the spot and wouldn't have thought at the time about Eryndil's men - in which case, he would remember it later and try to get word to E... whichever, just let me know.

As for reposting to keep the right chronological order, at the end of Shadow II it is not necessary - as I will put them in right order when I squeeze them on the first page of the archived game. Just post now at the end in any order.

Oh - if you saw my post in the other subforum - I asked about posting images. I've got something drawn for Brochenridge. I may post at Entmoot for starters. Shall I email it to you? ( EDIT: Just saw that you saw it - thanks! ) And MIA is a term used here in America (at least) for soldiers who are "Missing In Action".
