OK - now just to be absolutely sure... you want E to arrive on the 22nd and the CC's to arrive on the 21st? Correct? I can do it either way. I want both of you to arrive between 20 and 22 - in what order is equal to me. But it is Rian who wants the CC to come first. So, I guess re-dating Rian's post the 21 instead af 22 and placing Eryndil's arrival on the 22 would be perfect. And please write your presentation to the King - remember, Tarnendur is public. Thanks for explaining MIA. As for the pictures, better try Photobucket first. It is really easy.

I want both of you to arrive between 20 and 22 - in what order is equal to me. But it is Rian who wants the CC to come first. Yes, just so the marriage ruse is more feasible. As for Callon's "ruse" - either he had it thought out in advance (even if he didn't share it with Caelen, which seems unlikely) - or he did it on the spot and wouldn't have thought at the time about Eryndil's men - in which case, he would remember it later and try to get word to E... whichever, just let me know. I just meant that he would be more likely to go with the ruse "on the spot" if he knew that absolutely no one knew them there, but I think it will work fine the way we have it now, with C&C going ahead by one day. Good write-ups! I'm so glad to have you here! Also, re the money situation - just in case you didn't remember or hadn't read, C&C are not penniless - they're "homeless". A lot of their valuable stock escaped, and I had their family jewels out from the house getting cleaned so they weren't destroyed, so money-wise, they're not bad. If he didn't have his sister to worry about, Callon would probably have just "batched" it on the land. He thought he'd give the land a year to recover, and then start rebuilding. So anyway, they had some money on them, and some things they could sell for more money - I don't know if they would have accepted Eryndil's money. They might have offered to pay him something, instead, or give him something. I'll have to think on that. What do you think?

Rian:Eryndil wouldn't accept anything. What he did for them - he did in the King's service. Besides - he's about to get a raise! ;D If you like, I could write the "loan" out of the post. Either way is fine.

Yes, I was picturing him turning it down, of course, being the kinda guy he is But he might feel obligated to accept it if Caelen offered it ("I won't be able to rest unless you accept this small token" kind of thing). The more I think about it, the more I'd like to write a thank-you scene like that. I'll coordinate it via PM with you, or maybe just write one and have you tell me how to change it. It'll be up to you if Eryndil accepts it or not, of course. Please go ahead and take out the loan bit for now, though - thanks!

He still wouldn't feel right taking money... a necklace, or anything? Or would that make TOO much of a statement? Yes - PM me... I'm getting ideas. And I'm writing my next segment even now. I could work it in as a further "remembrance". Oh - and I switched my "Runnings" post from the Valandil account to the Eryndil account. You can delete the Valandil post. I already took out the contents.

Hey guys, I've just finished reading the third part of the RPG and I find myself itching to participate, which I take as a sign that my burn-out is... well, reaching a burn-out of its own. I've pondered on it for a few days and I'd like to reclaim Wilwarin, if allowed. At least, if she's still alive, I don't think I saw her demise already. It'll be a short role on all accounts anyway. I take it Broggha's going to move in on Tarniel any time soon, which will quite likely involve Wilwarin's dead, or if by chance she manages to escape, a hasty flight in exile and disgrace. And I promise no more dropping out until Walwarin's role is truly over and done with.

Oh - I figure it's at least a good year of game time - maybe longer, before Broggha actually forces that marriage with Tarniel.
And yeah - that "Wraiths-Kings-Friends-Rings" game made burn-outs of us ALL for a bit, didn't it?

Gordis / Witch-King / Rian / Anyone...I'm writing up my next few posts and need to know some things: 1. Have we established anyone as a sort of "Chancellor" or something to King Tarnendur? Someone who would present people to the King? I want someone in that role when Eryndil comes to him. I can create one, if there isn't one already. I think he should definitely be Dunedain - and most likely someone the King could trust to be completely loyal. 2. I was scanning the posts from the Council Meeting. Do we have a list of all the nobles on the Council? (btw - they might be good to include in our list of characters) I thought there was a group of about six or eight names in there somewhere, but I didn't find it. 3. I'm particularly interested in knowing who now holds the lands that once belonged to Odaragariel's father. Has that been determined? Thanks

He still wouldn't feel right taking money... a necklace, or anything? No, definitely no money! They're all classier than that. A nice little family piece or something that he could give to his sister, perhaps. And yeah - that "Wraiths-Kings-Friends-Rings" game made burn-outs of us ALL for a bit, didn't it? "burn-outs"? More like FLAME-outs!!!! *brushes the cinders off her clothes* Hey guys, I've just finished reading the third part of the RPG and I find myself itching to participate, which I take as a sign that my burn-out is... well, reaching a burn-out of its own. Oh, YAY!!!!! *dances around* You just made my day edit - I was thinking that we should probably insert a few references to W. throughout the story to keep it consistent. It would be easy to do - kind of a "... with Wilwarin following unobtrusively behind them" kind of thing. And we prob. want to do something with her in the bear fight - either have her off-duty for the night, or write in some bits with her defending Tarniel (which might be hard - maybe the first option is better). Let us know, and I'm sure everyone will be glad to add in a few sentences

Earniel, what a wonderful news! Welcome back! ;D Wilwarin is all yours (she is still where you left her) - as well as any other character you would wish to take. I guess Val would need help writing about all Beleg's family at Amon Sul... Val, Here is the list of the Private council - it is in the Characters thread, but I slightly added to it here: Private Council Members 1. King Tarnendur2. CurugilSenechal of the Realm brother of the Lord of Nothwa Rhaglaw old, balding and portly spy of Arthedain - almost everybody is aware of that. 3. Nimruzir from Fennas Drunin Queen Eilinel's great uncle, old veteran of many wars, with a scar across his face and an evil temper. Honest and outspoken, loves his great-grandnephews: the King's younger children 4. Huramir from Dol Aglardin - nothing specific, rather old 5. Belzagar Lord of Dol Duniath, Secret spy of Angmar aged 50 6. Elured from Brochenridge - nothing particular, but also about 50 7. Daurendil Heir to the throne 8. Gimilbeth9. BrogghaCurugil was the one who read the funeral service at Nauremir's burial. Edit: the Council members are as a rule not the ruling lords of the places mentioned above - the Lords of Aglardin, Brochenridge etc are meant to sit at home and rule their lands. The counsil members are their relatives - send to represent their lords at the Private council. The only exception is Belzagar, it seems - as Angmar made him Lord of Dol Duniath. But as the King seems to invite Eryndil and K to make a special trustworthy council, supplanting his old Private council, made impotent with the inclusion of Broggha, it is unlikely that he will involve the Senechal, who is the head of the old Private council Perhaps he should pick Nimruzir? or Belzagar? - HAHA! EDIT: Odare's lands are still free, I guess. I dimly remember it being discussed: they are hold by the Crown and ruled by a Governor, I think. Anyway, Broggha asked for them and the King refused - but it means the King still has authority over them.
