Welcome, Voronwen Yes, things slowed down quite a bit when our awesome administrator came down with some serious health issues, and then some other members had some things come up, too. I really don't know what's going to happen here, but at least you can start reading if you'd like

I think after taking a year break we could definitely continue. It is quite possible that the game will pick its pace at least in autumn. No one had yet said they are fed up with the game. However, to get some new life in it, I think we should try to move at a faster pace, with less distracting subplots.

Welcome, Voronwen Thank you, Rian! I've started reading - you're all very talented! I'd have to start out with a minor character, i think. A whole year?! Wow. I hope everyone's doing better now.

Welcome, Voronwen Thank you, Rian! I've started reading - you're all very talented! I'd have to start out with a minor character, i think. A whole year?! Wow. I hope everyone's doing better now. Well, this sort of thing takes a lot of sustained effort - which becomes draining over a long period of time. Besides - after 69 years, Archie is finally proposing. But even there, something tells me that particular bit of angst isn't over with yet. Yes - a minor character might be good. Gordis made a good suggestion in another thread - about a girl named 'Calafornien'. See the thread (" Storms at Weathertop", I believe) and check her out to see if you'd be interested. She's not from California... it's supposed to mean "Daughter of the Northern Lights" EDIT: First check out the top post on page 3 of " Intrigues & Sorcery" thread. That will give you a little background.

Another choice is Prince Amantir (actually it would be great if Voronwen takes both - because they act in different threads.) Or, if you want a bad woman - take Gildurien, I am willing to part with her, one evil woman is enough for me!

Well, this sort of thing takes a lot of sustained effort - which becomes draining over a long period of time. I can imagine! It's totally understandable that a break is needed from time to time. Gordis - Thank you for the link to Calafornien's background. I'll take a look at it and let you know ASAP. As i've already mentioned to you, the idea of taking on a tragic character is very appealing to me as i tend to do well with those. I have a lot of catching up to do... I'll do my best to catch up in a timely manner so that i can help you guys out. Also, Valandil - I remember you mentioning that Varokhar could come along, too. Is everyone else OK with my bringing another new member into things?

Thanks guys I can't promise that he'll join in the games, as he's not much of an RP person (by his own admission, but i think he'd do extremely well in this type of RPG), but he would at least enjoy reading.

Welcome to Northern Kingdom, Voronwen! I hope you will enjoy it here, even though at the present time the game is rather slow.
