I come from far away, a stranger walking Middle Earth in search for knowledge. Is there any library or school near by? For so far I found dreadful towers and beautiful holes only.

I would like to welcome Voronwen to the site! Allow me to give a little introduction. For those who do not know: Voronwen first joined The Tolkien Forum, and she wrote me at my account there several weeks ago. She's a fellow fan of all things Numenorean, especially at the time right around the Fall of Numenor. I invited her to join Entmoot and this site as well. She joined Entmoot at first, and has just joined here. At Entmoot, I gave her links to a RPG I did long ago, mostly with Rosie Gamgee and Beor - called "The Fall of Numenor". I also steered her to "Wraiths, Kings, Friends, Rings" (where we all came together). She has been reading that lately and just loving it. I believe she has interest in doing a little writing. So - Voronwen, look around, ask questions, and just know that we are happy to work you into the game.  |

I sent you a PM to let you know that i finally made it here, and because i was having a little trouble with my profile - but i seem to have figured out the latter on my own (except for my avatar, and getting my beloved pastel colors into my sig!  ). Yes - Avatars. We have a thread on that - in one of the top forums on the main page. I even forget just what we have to do, but it's a little trickier than the usual case. Just post there about what you're looking for - and I think you'll find that some of our members with more know-how than me will be very helpful.
As an FYI - we carry multiple accounts here. You can use your base 'Voronwen' account for general posting, and create separate accounts for charaters you post with. We do not duplicate avatars across characters here - so each character gets a unique avvie.

Welcome Voronwen. It's a pity the game is in such shambles these days, for otherwise you could have jumped right in. But at least there's plenty to read, even if the prospect of finishing it is pretty bleak at the moment. |
