Wait... why is Beleg sneaking into the tower? Val, haven't you read this thread? ;D - we were discussing the matter for some time already. The idea is: Sulawen tells Beleg in secret about the marriage proposal. Beleg learns that there is a portrait of Tarniel up in the Palantir chamber and in naturally thrilled. The next night he climbs the stair leading to the roof and sneaks into the chamber by a secret door he knows about (as do the selected few). He contemplates the portrait. On his venture he is secretly followed by Duilin and Thurisind. Of course, all this is subject to your approval, Val. Earniel - loved the new post. At first I thought it was Val's but while reading I felt a distinct feminine touch . You write for Sulawen wonderfully. Duilin - very funny post with Barund. His silliness is incredible... But perhaps he just wants to impress the others showing that he is deep in Gimilbeth's counsels. ;D Now it looks like Gimilbeth will have to answer some awkward questions from Galphant.

He-he. poor old Orogost. But he was indeed a fool to speak to Barund in this way...

I think the Amon Sul thread could definitely go on. Val, please, tell us would you like to go along with this proposed plotline? I thought, perhaps Voronwen could become a minder for Calafornien, who would soon learn that she will never become the Queen of Arthedain?

Here, I have made a new post in Amon Sul thread. It is dedicated to our new most welcome participant, Voronwen. Voronwen, I took the liberty to mention your "ancestress". If you don't like what I wrote I will take it away. Also any edits that you may want to make are very welcome. Gordis

Aww, thank you for the mention! At this point i don't see why it can't stay. I had never thought before that my character may have written her own ballad, but it's an intriguing thought I love how ideas like this can come out through RP.

Great post, Gordy! I liked how things were so boring there that the commoners were desperate enough to go to a *gasp* library for entertainment and I liked how you worked Gandy back in, and how there was a run on the treaty, and how you mentioned Voronwen (how sweet!). And I LOVED the name of that novel! "Love on the Edge of a Sword" That was hilarious!! We simply MUST bring in another reference to that novel somewhere! "As Caelen reflected back on her tumultuous life over the past x months, she was reminded of the adventures of the heroine in her favorite novel, 'Love on the Edge of a Sword' ... " "As Hendegil undressed after the momentous ball, she found that she was too excited to fall asleep, so she lit another candle for more light and took up the exciting novel, "Love on the Edge of a Sword", that she had just obtained from the local book-seller and had found very hard to put down when it was time for dinner." "As Gimilbeth left the library, Mithrandir breathed a sigh of relief. What if she had come over to his table in the corner of the library and seen the copy of "Love on the Edge of a Sword" that he had concealed behind the studious tome that he was only feigning to read? He was already afraid that those dratted elves had their suspicions ... "

Rian - ;D ;D That was hilarious - you simply must slip something like that in. And thank you for the kind words, Rian and Voronwen.

Haven't we all read one book concealed behind another?! I had fun picturing Gandy doing that
