I think poor Galphant was bewildered into proposing. It's something he had no particular intention of doing until he did it.
Keeping it secret would likely be fine, I think, although I'd imagine Galphant will want to tell Hador and Aegnor about it (but probably nobody else - he'll likely be happy to keep it from Herunarth for the moment.)
The Gondorians talking to Gondor should probably come soon - probably November 18. For me, otherwise, there's things to do, but they mostly require others - after he speaks to Malvegil, Celebrindol will have to get back to Adrahil about Adrahil's suggestion for settling the throne of Cardolan on Beleg. Amdir will have to pursue his dealings with Gimilbeth. Duilin and Thurisind are still spying about, but they don't really have much to do as yet. So the council talking to Gondor should come next, I guess.

Gimme a nudge when all conversations of this day are done. I've got a post for the next morning that I've been sitting on for... three months by now.

* Giving Earniel a BIG nudge* ;D Please, post! - I have left a few placeholders for us to be able to move to Nov 18. Rian, I was thinking about your Callon post (#54), but it is still too early to insert it, if you want it to happen 3-4 days before Callon's departure. - Edelbar would hardly spend more than a month travelling to CB, so G will send him away around Dec. 1.

Posted. Interesting development in the Arnorian countries' politics. Looking forward to reading more. Say, how is Angmar these days? Has he been able to recover somewhat from his medical troubles?

Great post, Earniel! Cooking at Amon Sul is not easy with all this mixed company... BTW, I wonder where Galphant gets his food when he wines and dines Gimilbeth? Isn't in in Narian's kitchen? Could you, perhaps, include a word or two about it, Earniel?? Like the Cardolani complaining about food being too plain and wanting more spices? Angmar... I so hope he returns here soon. He posts sometimes at his own site - but not frequently. Looks like he is still recovering.

hmm, now I'm wondering what in the world this "toast" is ... Ask Val is he's willing to give it away, it was originally his invention, I just went along with it and spiced it up a bit. (It's rather ironic, me taking on a cook character, I can barely whip up a few basic dishes, never mind the spices! ) BTW, I wonder where Galphant gets his food when he wines and dines Gimilbeth? Isn't in in Narian's kitchen? Could you, perhaps, include a word or two about it, Earniel?? Like the Cardolani complaining about food being too plain and wanting more spices? Good idea, I've added a reference to Galphant's meal in red. Let's hope we'll see him here again soon.

Thank you for the addition, Earniel. Looks fine to me. How about you, Duilin? Is it OK? I guess it was Hador who complained about the food : Galphant had something else on the forefront of his mind, obviously. ;D I hope to write the reply soon, sorry, guys.

What's going on, everyone? We seem to have fallen into a rut. I would do something, but most of my characters are waiting on posts by others.
