Gordis - no problem. Oooo... Once Galphant gets wind of these stories about Gimilbeth... ForGET it! ;D (unless we get a Third Age version of "Bewitched" )

That Hurgon is a raging alcoholic might impair his credibility. Although Galphant, I think, is going to have serious doubts throughout. What's happened to Nauremir, btw? Is he still with the group, ro did he run off?

But Galphant should better listen to Barund - a very creditable fellow, not like this drunken fool Hurgon. Nauremir ran off in Brochenridge, his hometown. Elfhild had abandoned the poor guy there. ;D] Elfhild - you really should tell us something about him! Will he return to Cameth Brin now when Broggha is away? But if you don't want this character anymore - send him to Gondor.

Duilin and Serenoli - Just in a few minutes a servant will bring Hurgon a note from Gimilbeth. You may include it in your post. " Hurgon, Tarniel's portrait must be ready by tomorrow evening. I mean READY - lacquered and dried. I plan to show it to the King the day after tomorrow. Gimilbeth" Probably Hurgon, already seeing double, will ask his new friends to read the note to him.

He might say ANYTHING to keep that from happening. Maybe even recount his rescue of her from the Orcs... in GREAT detail! ;D

When Barund brags about Gimilbeth this night he has no idea about Galphant's possible interest in his lady. Galphant himself doesn't know about it - yet!

I am working on a post for Nauremir, which records what he has done from November 3 to the present time. I've been plotting with Angmar on a few things. ;D

Hi Serenoli,
I wonder if you might slightly edit a couple of parts of your Hurgon post that refer to Duilin and Thurisind.
Firstly, I think Hurgon would probably notice that Thurisind is "not from around here" - he's gigantic and blond, and although he is certainly fluent, will likely speak Westron with a pronounced accent. This is possibly worth noting.
Secondly, I think Duilin would likely know that Hurgon is talking about Gimilbeth. Some kind of change there is possibly in order. A different question, probably. "The Lady Gimilbeth has commanded silence, then? Who is she to deny us the enjoyment of your tale?" Something like that.
Lastly, Duilin's last question should be changed, I think. "A witch! Surely, Hurgon, you do not speak of your mistress as such without great cause. I myself would never speak that way of a beautiful woman, even if she stood naked before me covered in the blood of a virgin calling out incantations in the Black Speech." Or something. (doesn't need to be that explicit...)
Followed by Thurisind:
"Yes, we all know you are the slave of any woman with a pretty face. Our friend Hurgon here is of stronger will. But this certainly promises to be a more interesting story than any that you or I could tell. Come Hurgon, won't you explain yourself?"
Is that okay?

This portion of the game ("Storms at Weathertop") is making me think of that movie: "A Lion in Winter" - have you guys all seen that?
