It's spring! (At least on this hemisphere...) A perfect time to try and restart the game! If there is still anyone interested in it, that is. So... is there? I'd love to see this game live again, but I know (and perfectly understand) that people's priorities have changed in the passing years and this game no longer is one. But I've come to the point where I dislike having the game linger in uncertainty like this indefinitely (which it will), and rather just pull the plug if people aren't able or willing to invest any more time in this game. In which case, no hard feelings. Life happens. So is there anyone else still here? Anyone still willing to see this game continue, and willing to devote some time and effort to it?

No one? I have to say I'm a bit surprised. I wasn't exactly expecting an avalanche of enthusiasm either, but I was expecting a bit more than crickets.
Or am I too hasty?

Sorry, Earniel, for not replying at once. I was simply thinking on my possibilities. I certainly don't want this game to die and if there are enough other participants I could manage one maybe even two posts a week. But where are the others, indeed?

It's okay, at this point I'm already pleased to see one person reply. One or two posts a week is quite a bit, I doubt that even in the busiest times in the game we posted that frequently. Personally I'd be thrilled if people were considering one or two posts a month. This game has never been nor needed to be a very speedy one, generally the posts were long and that requires time. I had been thinking, considering not many people seem to frequent the forum anymore, if it would help to just e-mail everybody and ask if they're still interested that way.

I'd definitely be up for continuing, if we could get it started again. I think these things kind of have an effect where if nobody is posting anything, that tends to discourage anyone from posting anything, and if lots of people are posting, that encourages quicker posting.
E-mailing is probably a good idea - I only saw this today because I've basically stopped checking more than once a month or so, since it's been so long since there was anything new.

I would *definitely* like to return! In fact, Vorondariel is alive and well and still mooning over Nolentir In all seriousness though, she also has a few hidden dimensions that haven't surfaced yet, but she's about to get really interesting (well, what do you know! ;D). Let's do this thing!!!

Ahh, it is not as hopeless as I've thought. Glad to see you, Earniel, Duilin and Voronwen, again! Actually, if we can reach Valandil, we can ALREADY resurrect the Amon Sul thread. As for the other thread, we will need Rian, Angmar and Elfhild. So, Earniel, maybe you write to Val and Rian and I write to Angmar and Elfhild? Has anyone any idea how to get Serenoli?

You know what? I think it might be a gode idea to make Vorondariel and Nolentir go to Cameth Brin in spring - together with Gimilbeth. It will permit her to remain involved in the game, once we finish the Amon Sul episode. As for the reasons for the trip, once Beleg-Tarniel betrothal is finalized, Arthedain will send some official representatves to Cameth Brin to bring Tarniel back to Fornost to be fostered at the court, as agreed upon. Vorondariel can be assigned lady-in-waiting to Tarniel to keep her company from now on as a representative of Arthedain. What do you think?

Yeay! More people! ;D So, Earniel, maybe you write to Val and Rian and I write to Angmar and Elfhild? Sure, I'll contact Val and Rían, I'm pretty certain both would love to continue this game, but I know the two of them are pretty swamped with RL-issues at the moment. Serenoli has left an email address on her profile. (Or had at least, last time I checked if emailing people was an option.) If it is still active, I'd say that's our best shot of reaching her.
