We didn't specifically give him that title in the game yet - but for all practical writing purposes, let's say so.

I've been thinking lately that i'd really like to re-open the story of Tamyris.
Thank you to whomever it was (i honestly can't remember, with everything that's been going on IRL) who advised me not to abandon her character before. I have much that i would like to express through writing at this time, and she will do quite nicely.

I'm glad to hear you have found a use for Tamyris, Voronwen. A pity this game is... well maybe not dead as the dodo, but in cryogenic sleep at the very least. But if you're looking for interaction, I'll gladly volunteer Wilwarin for a scene, or can take care of Sirien if you want a co-writer. Other than that I don't think I'll be writing much soon. I have sort of decided for myself that I'm not going to bother with NK again until March, unless in the very unlikely event activity picks up on its own. So if anyone wants me, I'm only a PM away on the Entmoot, but I will be visiting here only once in a while from now on.

A pity this game is... well maybe not dead as the dodo, but in cryogenic sleep at the very least. It would appear so I think personally the reason i have not been able to bring myself to do anything on this is that my characters bore me. At this point they feel inane, and not mature enough for me to really act/write through. I had a few ideas to spice them up a while back, but nothing really came of it. I think the best idea was the original plan i had for Tamyris, back when, and after having scrapped that i thought of doing something similar with Vorondariel. But she is too much a china doll to do much of anything with. I give up. Should i just kill off these characters, and start over? Somehow i don't think that's the way to go either, though. I'm still thinking at this time that Vorondariel needs a serious makeover. She needs to be more human, more dimensional, more mature. Perhaps a bit of time has gone by, and i can reflect this in a future post. I'm just finding it hard to work with her in her present limpid state. For me this WAS the experiment, but it's not working for me, at least at this point in time.

Well, with this game being in stasis for so long, and you not having many posts with Vorondariel yet, you should have time and opportunity enough to rework your character. There's little point in having a character you won't like writing for, anyway.

Awesome She needs to become more than the little porcelain statue she has been in the past. She needs breath in her lungs and blood in her veins. Perhaps something needs to happen to make her a dynamic character....

Usually, giving your character flaws helps with making them more real and human.

Yes, that's true. I didn't want her to be 'perfect', what i was experimenting with was making her placid coolness her "flaw". It's just not working for me.
She needs some fire.
