Thank you, Angmar, for putting in the logo and also for adding us to Tolkien top 100. Now we have to vote regularly! ;D Gordis, yes, I would like to keep Shadow Over Rhudaur on the first page, where it can be seen, so all of us are going to have to vote.

OK! Let us vote daily! I have transferred the Geographical Info and Character Info threads to this site. Now almost everything is here! Let us keep the threads updated!

Checking in. Hi Everyone! Are we still in the process of moving all the rest of the informational threads over from the other site, or are we just sticking with what's here already?

Hi, Val, Nice to see you. We are still moving the staff. I think everything should be moved except the long RPG discussion threads. BTW, if you could repost your Dunedain material that would be great! Then they will be your own posts, not the scribe's. Also something more about the holidays like Halloween etc would be handy.

This afternoon, I moved over the rest of the Tolkien Discussion Forum posts. This was very slow work and took me quite a while. Val, if you could add your Dunedain material, it would be most helpful. By the way, I just checked the Tolkien Top 100 about an hour ago and Shadow Over Rhudaur was number 6.

Gordis,
We just went to the Number 1 position on the Tolkien Top 100. I don't think that will last when these sites that have hundreds of members start voting. No one should feel bad when we drop - just as long as we stay on the main page or the second page so that we might attract new members.

A couple minor issues:
1. I'm pretty sure I registered with a capital "V" - but I only got the lower case.
2. From the forum index, I can go straight to the latest post in the thread most recently posted to. However, once I get inside a forum, I only get the profile of the one who posted it. The only way to get to the end of a thread (once inside a forum) seems to be to click on the latest page - and then scroll down to the last post. Is there a "view most recent post" feature that can be activated on this board?
And... I guess I'll have to come on sometime when I'm not lazy and get my avatar up for all to see.

A couple minor issues: 1. I'm pretty sure I registered with a capital "V" - but I only got the lower case. Val, go to your PROFILE then find MODIFY PROFILE then find DISPLAY NAME and there change to "Valandil" with a capital V. You can change your display name as many times as you like. But for logging in you will always use "valandil" In your profile you can also put a link to your avvie. It is here: i14.photobucket.com/albums/a337/Gor-Dis/val.jpg2. From the forum index, I can go straight to the latest post in the thread most recently posted to. However, once I get inside a forum, I only get the profile of the one who posted it. Is there a "view most recent post" feature that can be activated on this board? Don't click on the poster's name - then you get his profile. Chick on the thread's name below - then you get the last page of the thread. Also on the home page near where there is a list of who is online, you will get an option "view recent posts". Hope it helps.
