No - nobody is extempt of bugs, big sites and small sites alike
Entmoot also has server problems, Angmar. Quite recently it has been down for several days and prior to that there was a period when a big number of people (was it half Europe?) couldn't open the homepage.
And I have had EXACTLY the same problem as Serenoli at Barrow-Downs forum - also a huge site.

I think my problems are now solved altogether... At least, I took Angmar's advice and stayed away for two days and today I have had no problem. Rejoice!

And I have had EXACTLY the same problem as Serenoli at Barrow-Downs forum - also a huge site. Gordis, I don't understand how so many countries could be blocked from going to a site. Maybe it has something to do with the internet cables and routing systems. There was a real problem a few weeks ago when some undersea cables were cut in the Mediterranean and a good chunk of the Mid-East was blocked from internet service for a week or so. I guess smaller incidents happen like that all the time, but they aren't big enough for news services to pick up the story. Welcome back, Serenoli! If your problem was between your computer and ProBoards, staying off the site for a few days would have successfully cleaned out any residual memory your computer had of the site. This has happened to me before, and I was locked out of Henneth Annun for about four or five days. It has something to do with the cookies, and the problem cannot always be fixed by purging all of the cookies. Only time itself can fix the problem. The computer has to "forget." Then, too, if this problem was some sort of bug between your server and ProBoards, maybe the technical people at either ProBoards or your server resolved the issue during the time that you were away. Whatever the problem was, we are glad to have you back.

And I am glad to be back!
Sometimes, the internet cable problem happens here... we have only one submarine cable supplying the whole country, so if the opposition wants to disrupt life (which they always always love doing; hartals are the preferred method, of course) then they sabotage the cables and internet is gone for at least a day, maybe more. Minor annoyance for me, and major money-losing problem for many businesses.

Serenoli, that sounds very frustrating for users. I hope the situation improves and you will have reliable internet access.
