I would vote for " Bleak December" - if we really start in December, not on November 10-11. If not, I vote for "the Winter of Discontent" For now I didn't vote - put my vote in when you decide when to start the thread.  |

You know - I was just about to vote for my own "Winter Storms" - but then I remembered: I think the "Sul" part of Amon Sul means "wind" (according to Ruth Noel's book) - and since a later translation of the place is "Weathertop" - I wonder if it's "winds" as in "storm" - so maybe we should use a name like that for the Amon Sul thread (although things may be stormier still in Rhudaur this winter).
Let me think on it a bit more. Just a few more days.
Oh - did you notice the name of Beleg's mother. It starts with "Sul" - because she was born out there, at Amon Sul. I don't remember now exactly what I named her, but it probably translates something like, "stormy chick"! ;D
