I am glad you liked Serinde's description, Angmar and Serenoli! Thank you. I did a reverse ISP check on the poster and found out that they are from China, or are somehow spoofing a Chinese server to keep their real server from being detected. I think it was a spammer, and I have deleted his/her posts and tried to block the ISP. Unfortunately, I do not know if I can block guests from posting. There is an option in the admin functions, but from its description, it sounds like the only way anyone can even read the site is by registering and logging in. That is something we don't want, unless a flood of spammers hit the site. Ahh so all three messages were from the same IP address? That is good - we have one spammer only. I am afraid we can't block guests from posting, without blocking the option for them to see the site, while unregistered. It is always maddenning when a site asks you to register to be able even to look at it. I never go further - what is the point of registrering if I can't even check what it is all like? Let us not do this. Let us simply delete the spam and try to ban the IP. I think you have chosen wisely, Angmar.

Gordis, the last few digits of the IP address were a little different on each spam post, because the last part of an IP address usually varies. However, I banned the first two sets of numbers and put an asterisk after them, hopefully creating a wildcard that will block all users from that server. Let's hope it will take care of the problem. We have to be prepared, though, for more spammers, or simply strange people. I was reading another LOTR message board, and they were hit with letters from about three odd types who really seemed to have no purpose in being there.

How is our sick ward? Get better soon - all of you, please!
And what next in our story? I guess there should be two-three days journey till Brochenridge, then the escort leaves.. What about Nauremir? Is there anyone who wishes to write about the guy - how he finally wakes?

Gordis, I'm happy to say that I am almost completely recovered, except for a few lingering symptoms, but the illness left me still somewhat weak. Three days journey sounds about right. I was thinking perhaps that Nauremir's plight could be written about by anyone who wishes to write for him.

Glad to hear you are recovered, Angmar! As for me, I am more or less OK, but I have lost my voice - I speak like a nazgul in PJ's film! I hope it will not last forever.... Won't you be interested to take Nauremir, Elfhild? I liked your story about his demise by Broggha so much! Sure if you take him, he is yours - to kill or to keep. But I am not trying to force him on you if you prefer not. Serenoli - isn't it time to introduce your traveling Dwarves? By Nov. 1 they they should be crossing the Ford of Bruinen, going West to the Last Bridge, I think. Also, if you like this, several days ago they might have met my Agannalo - at the High Pass. It is up to you.

Gordis, that's awful. It sounds like you have laryngitis.
I was hoping that I could write this weekend, but I've gotten snowed under with a load of work. All these colds and flu put us all behind, but we will get back to it.
Even though we have only gotten spammers, I am glad to see that Shadow Over Rhudaur is staying high in the ranking at the Top 100.

I hope you feel better soon and your voice returns. Otherwise, join a black metal band and death growl and screech with the best of them. ;D ;D ;D Yes, I would like to take Nauremir. It might be interesting when he wakes up.... ;D

Ha-ha! Yes, if it persists that might be an option.
At least I do sound scary, I think, my son behaves better when I hiss, growl and screech at him in my newfound nazgul voice ;D
I am glad you take Nauremir, Elfhild.

Elfhild, I already see something very spooky happening with Nauremir when you get to it. ;D
Gordis, I don't think your son is going to argue with you when you are going to speak with the "Voice of the Nazgul." *grins*

Sorry I've been away so long, I had sudden and very unexpected exams and had to cram a lot. I see Gimilbeth has changed her look pretty face she's got there. I hope you got better, Gordis, and wow, am I surprised you have a son. Never quite imagined you as a mom... I had forgotten all about Nauremir, and I'm glad Elfhild has taken him in hand. And, yes, the travelling Dwarves will be making an appearance shortly. I just need to look over the maps once and hopefully when my last exam finishes tomorrow, I'll have my post up.
