All of the MERP maps are very good. There are much more features on them than Tolkien ever invented, but all CANON things are in the right places. Very-Very good job. What a pity the company all but disappeared. Gordis, yes, it is a real pity the company has disappeared. You can still find some of the used game sets on Amazon and places like that. Sometimes they are expensive, and sometimes they are not. A few years back, a gamemaster was running a MERP based game on dwarves. I sat in on it without playing. He has since suspended the game. You can sometimes find maps from old games online.

OK - I FINALLY got up the transition post I've had in mind to allow Rian to get Callon & Caelen to Cameth Brin. I put it in the old "Runnings" thread - seems to fit best there. I MEANT to post it with the Eryndil username I created, but I forgot. Everyone - let me know if you need any edits.

(Rian speaking) Looks great on a first quick read (I'm in between school drop-offs, and will re-read it in a bit) - go ahead and copy it and repost it as Eryndil, that would be nice, and I'll delete the duplicate post for you It will be GREAT to have another FOGAL in Cameth Brin!! I guess Callon must have found a way to notify Eryndil of his marriage "intrigue" - that makes a lot more people in on the secret, because all E's men know that C&C are brother and sister, I imagine. I'll have to modify a few posts, I think, but it's worth it to have you at C. Brin

Notes to self:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Gordis:) We started the RPG with the idea that CC's were from Tanoth Methed - a settlement just North and West of the Last Bridge - on the West bank of the Mitheithel. It is South-Western Rhudaur, Rian.
But considering CC's route at the beginning of the story, it may be better to make them start from a bit further North - from the lands South of Nothwa Rhaglaw. And this Nothwa Rhaglaw - MERP invention - is a city at about the same latitude as Cameth Brin, but on the other - (West) - bank of the Hoarwell-Mitheithel and far away from the river - close to the border of Arthedain. That makes it Western Rhudaur.
EDIT: Anyway , Rian, if you put in Arinya's post something like
"My lord, my family has lived for many years in the green valleys of Sir Methed in the west of your kingdom."
there won't be any need for edits in "Runnings". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hang on, I'm working on fixing this ... also adding in a line about that dratted aunt that was in my head but never got on a post!

Great post, Val. So wonderful to see you posting again! So Eryndil's arrival to Ostinand is described - now you have to post his coming to C. Brin. . Do you plan to go on the journey with Gimilbeth? By the way, do you want me to include something about recalling the Rangers to Cameth Briin discussed at the Council meeting in "Runnings"? Rian, thanks for posting. Gimilbeth will voice her opinion on the matter .

I'm sure she will, Gordis! She seems like a lady with opinions ... Anyway, Gordis - I made the changes you suggested in Arinya's post, and I also changed the very first post of the rpg in "Runnings" - I needed to make 2 changes - 1 to mention the aunt, and one to change the direction. Here's the changes, marked in blue - could you please put them in the manuscript? Thanks!
