Hello, well-met, mae govannen, and welcome in whatever other language you like to the Northern Kingdom! 
Since, with my elven persona, I'm the "good" member of the founding trio
(the other two are Nazgul 
but really, they're a coupla softies!) I took it upon myself to write a brief welcome and description of the board.
Basically, the three founding members - Angmar, our supreme, illustrious administrator; Gordis, all-powerful moderator and map-maker extraordinairre; and myself (*is too modest to sing her own praises, but will gladly hear them from others*
) are people who love the works of JRR Tolkien and enjoy doing friendly, knowledgeable, cooperative RPG-style writing together.
And who want the power to speedily banniate from the board those (thankfully very rare) toxic people that are NOT like that, because we were in a wonderful RPG together, with lotsa wonderful, creative people, and had to go through the agony of watching a toxic member or two slowly drag the game down in a painful, prolonged death.
So when I sent a plaintive message to Angmar one day about how I really missed writing with all the wonderful people there, he took it upon his illustrious self to create a board where we could enjoy writing together again, and he would have the power to immediately ban any "toxics" (one nice thing about Nazgul - they have no problem with things like banning!)
Anyway - enough of the bad stuff, and on to the good - almost all of the wonderful members from our other RPG were able to come over here, and we are again enjoying each other's creativity, humor, friendliness, and truly wonderful writing skills.
Since the board started, we added another moderator, the sublime Elfhild, and then decided to put out a general call for other people who are interested in writing like we are.
So here you are! and we hope you will join us, and if you receive even a tenth of the pleasure that I have received from our joint writing pleasure, then it will be "mae govannen", indeed!
If you are interested in joining, then please proceed to the next thread, where our formidable administrator explains the board rules (basically PG-13, and Golden Rule - do unto others as you would have them do unto you). If you're fine and dandy with that, then come on into our little Tolkien sub-universe - we're waiting for you with our glasses of miruvor raised high!
