I'm thinking i may have an alternate avatar for Tamyris -  I think it shows the inner side of her character. However, i would still be keeping her original one...  They are The Rose Bower and The Missal, respectively. She's definitely a Waterhouse girl! Duilin, how is your avatar search going?  |

Very nice avatars, Varonwen. You can indeed keep both, if you register tamyris1 with the other avatar but with the same screen name "Tamyris". That's what I did for Gimilbeth. Then you can post either as tamyris or tamyris1 and have different avvies for different posts.  I think it would be very helpful for Duilin if you post a link to your Pre-Raphaelite site. |

ETA, that's what i did, and it worked. Thanks! I'll see what i can do. I've already tried to help him a little, but the visuals don't seem to be out there (but admittedly i may be a poor searcher). Anyway most of the Pre-Raphaelite paintings are of women, so, good for us but unfortunately slim pickings for the guys. But if it helps anyone... John W. WaterhouseAlphonse Mucha I've always loved this sketch from the Waterhouse site. He captured the interaction between two characters here very well. Unfortunately i think it's too weak graphically to make a good avatar. |

How is everyone doing with avatars? Can i help in some other way? I love this visual stuff so i'm happy to help here. I've removed the last post where i had proposed a possible secondary avatar for Vorondariel, as i've changed my mind about it. It's not as much in keeping with my earlier concept of the character, which i feel i need to stick to in order to be able to develop her further. She is harder to pin down visually than Tamyris, at least at this time. Time will tell, i guess. |
