Such a warm welcome for the prodigal son, eh? A lot of things have been happening to me - first term of university is over, second term just starting, and I can not believe how busy I was. But this time I'll find time for writing! I can't believe how long I have overlooked it! And I missed you all sorely... and all our characters. It was sooo nice to see Gimilbeth being her usual self again Already in my head Hurgon is going to mess up the secrecy idea somehow...

Gordis - that all sounds good. I'm not sure who Belecthor normally hangs out with - he talks to Adrahil a lot, as they are allies on the council, but I think Adrahil is somewhat contemptuous of him - Adrahil truly believes in Arthedain's cause, and thinks Belecthor is a corrupt fool. But still a useful ally. He may also have a confidant of some sort, if you want to create one - a secretary or what not.

I imagine how busy you had been, I remember my first year in the University. :)Thank you for returning to us - and please, post! Hurgon should start painting the Warden Annundil and his Lady. Also Herunarth, son of Galphant. What if he uses his new abstract technique? Duilin - thank you, for the info on Belecthor. Hope to see your new posts soon.

If only Angmar and Elfhild come back as well, we would be back in operation. Could we perhaps mail them that we're trying to restart our lazy bones and would love them to join in? Beleg and Tarniel’s portrait dated Nov 18 by Val (again if he is willing) I was thinking, if Val can find time for that post, maybe Duilin can help him with the plotting. Supposing Duilin (the character) and Thurisind have chosen the same night to investigate getting into the tower, if they see young Beleg do it (who knows the tower and defenses far better, I assume) , they might have a pretty idea how to do it later by themselves. And I'd love to read how Hurgon continues to be a thorn in Gimilbeth's side.

Very good post, Gordy! I like how she takes everything, including a proposal, and judges it in the light of political advantages.

Thank you, Rian It is so nice to be able to write again. I hope the momentum will hold. Rian, please, have a look at the Discontent discussion thread. I need your input there! www.northernkingdom.proboards98.com/index.cgi?board=roleplaythreads&action=display&thread=19&page=73Earniel: " Could we perhaps mail Angmar and Elfhild that we're trying to restart our lazy bones and would love them to join in?" It is a very good idea - only I prefer to wait till we really start and get going. For the moment it is not their posts that hold the storylines. But surely, Angmar and Elfild would be crucial for the development of the main story. After all, one has to kidnap another! The day when we see Angmar and Elfhild back, will be the happiest for me in a very long while!

OH, sorry, Duilin! Fool that I am, I have modified your post instead of replying to it. A part of it is now lost. I am so sorry! Gordis I think it is a very good idea. As for Beleg, perhaps, Earniel, you would care to write how Sulawen breaks the news to him? I like Amdir's post. Funny to see these two inveterate scoundrels accost the poor honest soldier Barund. ;D

Is it official then? But would it not be normally the Heir that would break such news to his son? Not that I don't want to write it, but I have to admit, as Sulawen is not one of my characters, I haven't got the foggiest how she herself would react to this marriage deal at all.

It is for Val to decide whether Celebrimbor would tell Beleg himself... I only thought we could reduce Val's load As for Sulawen, given her history with Gimilbeth, I doubt she would be pleased to have Gimilbeth's young sister as her daughter-in-law. ;D
