But as far as why a wraith - why were other people wraithed, for that matter? Revenge, or what? Tolkien never said what the motives were, but it could be assumed that revenge or degredation of an enemy who had given them trouble would be two of the prime motives. Many theorize that Earnil, last king of Gondor, was stabbed with the Morgul blade so that he could be kept around as a trophy and an object of torment. If the Nazgul could not control their own magic, ie poison from the Morgul blade, they are lousy sorcerers. All that would be involved would be an antedote or magic counterspell to undo the Morgul blade's poison. Gordis, a great post. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope to get to a post on Alassar's dispatching of the high priest this weekend.

I have used one of Angmar's placeholders' to post for Odare. Check it out! Any suggestions for edits, (or any craftier ideas than mine about how they would go to disguise her, or hide her absence at the court) are welcome. I was very tempted to write in my last line - and so Odare began her own perilous journey to the north - but wrong thread.

Very nice post, Serenloi. Poor Odare finding herself prettier in man's clothes - after all her follies about dresses and jewels...

Gordis, there were only a very few errors and I just corrected them. I found your chapter engrossing, fascinating reading. This sort of thing is right up my alley. ;D
Yes, this no doubt will be Udunabal's last appearance, but I am going to miss him. ;D
There might be another delay before I can make my next post. My work load has been very heavy recently.

It looks like Udunabal will be around a while longer. I never got to work on my post this weekend.

No problem, Angmar, let the old priest enjoy his last day. Anyone else to post in the "Troubles"? What about you, Rian? Caelen's wedding preparations... By the way, it is high time for her to start looking for her lost aunt. She would want relatives at the wedding and Callon is away. So... she (or Eryndil) might find her cousin Malaneth, who is more accessible now with Broggha away. What do you think? Ang what about Aewen and her baby, Elfhild? And how is Nauremir faring? Isn't it time for him to show up either in Cameth Brin or Amon Sul? And Serenoli, where is our Seneschal? ;)By the way, are you planning to call him "Dinen'? Earniel, maybe a Wilwarin post? And would you like to take another character somewhere in the North or at Amon Sul?

Gordis, the High Priest is no more. He met his end peacefully. If you have any edits, please let me know.
