How much is 'too much' to tell publicly about what we intend to do with the future of our characters? I wrote a short profile for Vorondariel that i'd like to add somewhere, but it includes a very brief synopsis of her plot, including who she marries and how she is going to die But, is telling that much in a mere profile even OK? Or would it spoil too much for our readers? Should i just keep these things a secret until they happen in the story? How do the rest of you handle this?

Hi Voronwen - I was thinking about it, but didn't answer right away. Sorry. We don't really note this about other characters - although we have in mind when and even how a good many will die (either from JRRT's history, my history, or players' plans). OTOH - I think most of our readers actually read this at other sites, after we do a more polished version. So - it may not matter much. One thing you might do is leave the portion about her fate/future out of the actual character profile, but post notes about it in the planning section. Maybe we even need a good thread there for any of the various characters we would like to show this information for. A general thread for any of these characters, rather than a separate thread for each one. Would you like to start it? (and again - otoh - I sometimes like to surprise even my fellow players a little! ;D )

I suggest you better make her marry some already existing character that needs fleshing out. Like Annundil's son... (what-was his name again?) or that Arthedain lieutenant who escorted Gimilbeth to Amon Sul. Something like that. What do you think? Well I better go, I leave in 3 hours... See you...

Hi Voronwen - I was thinking about it, but didn't answer right away. Sorry. Don't be! OK, i won't say too much about it, then. Alright. I still won't say much. Done Sure Well, now you both know, at least in a basic sense, what i am planning to do. I'm sure this will also change and evolve over time, as interaction occurs with other characters.

I'll consider this It's going to depend on whether 1. the person i have in mind for her counterpart is interested in playing, and if so which character he'd want to portray (or whether he'd prefer to create his own), or 2. if not, then i will be writing him myself (not as a separate character, but as an NPC within Vorondariel's posts ~ but even that would be up for consideration). Having her marry the Warden's son would set her up to be a Warden's wife... i think that would work too, just fine. Either way, it's all good!
