Middle-Earth ~ The Fourth Horizon
The Major Plot
It is a year now since the Ringbearers; Gandalf, Galadriel, Elrond, Bilbo and Frodo left the shores of the Grey Havens bound for the Undying Lands. It is now the Fourth Age and after Sauron's defeat in Mordor several years before, it seems that the forces of light finally have the chance to triumph once and for all over darkness.
However, darkness it seems is not without resistance. Sauron's influence lives on. A new evil stirrs in the land of Mordor with old and ancient intentions.
A council has been founded in the land of darkness, formed of five beings they say. Founded by the Mouth of Sauron himself who now goes by the name of Maesel the Black due to his Black Númenórean heritage, the council is hell-bent on achieving control and power over the lands and free peoples of Middle-Earth. Little is known of this mysterious group, two of the five of the Council have not yet been revealed. Though Maesel has made its purpose horrifically clear.
After Sauron's defeat, the forces of Mordor are in need of a force more terrible and powerful than anything ever seen before. They plot and seek to resurrect Morgoth, the source of the very first evil ever to plague Middle-Earth. Even Sauron was merely an underling of Morgoth's.
As the ancient prophecy states, Morgoth will one day return, breaking free of his mystical bond enforced upon him thousands and thousands of years ago after the birth of Arda. The Council of Melkor are searching for a way to release him once more into the world.
Aragorn's and Eomer's Re-united Kingdoms of Men are now determined to achieve a true sense of peace. But will the world of men and its other free races withstand the ever-growing resistance and the terrifying fear of Morgoth's possible return in the Fourth Age?
As the sun rises on the fourth horizon of Middle-Earth, the fate of both friend and foe alike remains uncertain...
Middle-Earth ~ The Fourth Horizon
Sub-Plots
After Saruman's defeat and the cleansing of Orthanc and its surrounding mines at the hands of the Ents lead by Treebeard of Fangorn, Isengard has now been reclaimed by Aragorn and Gondor as it was before Saruman's treachery.
However, considering the White Hand was responsible for the death of so many trees and an industrial weapon against all that the Ents believe in, the Ents believe Isengard should now belong to them.
Although Treebeard remains uncertain, many of the other Ents in the Moot are considering aggressive actions if Orthanc and Isengard are not turned over to them.

Though the Dwarves of Middle-Earth are few and depleted, Moria is something worth fighting for even with small numbers. After the ancient underground mass of Dwarven cities was lost in the Third Age to Goblins, Orcs and all manner of creatures, the Dwarves are finally beginning to gather to decide the fate of their lost home.

Since the War of the Ring, word and news has spread throughout the lands of Middle-Earth. Even many Hobbits of the Shire have now been made aware of the stories of the Third Age. It seems some Hobbits are now living a more adventurous lifestyle, daring to expand or migrate to other areas of Middle-Earth. How will the races of Middle-Earth look upon these small halflings, particularly as many have never even laid eyes on a Hobbit before...
