Of course that's what I meant! Something like this: "This changes everything," the captain grinned, his eyes gleaming. "Let's go enjoy the tasty 'snack' that the Tarks so kindly left for us!" Saafak licked his lips in anticipation. "And then," the captain spat out through clenched teeth. "The company just has to follow the princess' entourage until we see a good opening. Then we hit them!" He rubbed his warty chin and laughed maliciously.

OHH that was vicious! You have to include this, Angmar! ;D Who would have thought our Rian capable of such evilness?

Today, though, I beat my schedule - instead of doing a chapter this weekend, I have completed one today. This is a story of a lovestruck orc, hopelessly besmitten with the lovely Princess Gimilbeth. (This might be one of the few stories of its kind. I remember during the Mithril Awards competition, there was one called "The Queen's Orc," but since I never read it, I do not know if there is any similarity.) An interesting idea - could an orc fall in love with a human? Perhaps Saakaf has retained more of his "elvishness." I have read one love story of an orc (an uruk, actually - not exactly the same as they are already part human) falling in love with a girl. I have found it: www.fanfiction.net/s/2792749/1/ As for pure blood orcs, I guess Gimilbeth's Saakaf is unique. And such a romantic love - OWW! Thank you, Angmar! Edit - I have taken us forward one day - to the late afternoon of Nov 3 and to Brochenridge. If anyone wishes to post about the journey on Nov 3 - I can always take away the last paragraph and make them reach Brochenridge later. Val, it would be great if you could post the arrival at Brochenridge from the POV of Merendil, or anyone else.. Nobody can do it better. Please!

Angmar and I have discovered that, unlike on the Moot, here it is impossible to move individual posts from one thread into another. I wanted only to move a few Planning posts into the new thread and into the new forum- otherwise it will be very difficult to find them later when they are needed. Well, actually, I use a bit of a trick to move individual posts from one thread to another, because there's no straight-forward tool for it. I don't know which mod-tools proboards have, but on the 'moot, I first split off the wanted posts into a temporary thread, and then merge that temp-thread with the final destination thread.

There is no thread splitting option here, it seems. Only "move thread" option!
But thank you anyway, Earniel!

Ah well, that is unfortunate. We'll have to keep that limitation in mind then.

Hah! I got that "fresh meat" thing right away! "Hangin' right up there on a rope to keep it nice!" ;D Maybe Saakaf should even run up to carve off a slice before the general partaking begins. Too bad about the splitting option not being present. I was going to suggest it myself. Gordis (1):Thanks for the kind words and offer to write the approach to Brochenridge. But honestly, I've spent so much time on the peripheral discussions (planning, debating, et al), and I really want to get my "catch-up" posts done. MAYBE I could write a description and post it for you to use, but don't count on me for that (give me whatever deadline you like - and if I don't make it, write one yourself). This is Easter Weekend too - and I have several activities to keep me "hopping"! Gordis (2):Which Rhudaurian King did you say first moved from Brochenridge to Cameth Brin? And... do you have a timeframe in mind - either an approximate year or about how far into his reign? I wanted a timeframe for something in a post I'm planning.

I've posted continuations of the forest scene. Val - let me know if you want any edits. I'm not quite sure how Eryndil would act and what he would say.

Rian and Gordis, my only excuse for not being as active as I would like here is because I've spending a lot of time guarding Elfhild, whom I have locked in the tallest tower in my fortress. I was forced to do this to keep her working on some massive edits that we are undertaking in "The Circles." I am a grim taskmaster. ;D I am happy to say that I will soon slide the key into the lock and release the girl for a while so that she might get back to Rhudaur. ;D Ohhh, oh, I would have posted sooner, if it were not for the fact that I have been chained to my chair and forced to copy old scrolls, adding in the appropriate changes... the dark figure of the Morgul Lord behind me, his icy breath on the back of my neck causing me to shiver, one hand kneading my shoulder (is there a threat within those powerful fingers?) and the other hand on my.... inkwell as he passes it to me so that I may dip my quill into the shadowy ink. ;D Now emerging from the tower, I desperately attempt to catch up with all that has transpired...
