How do I upload images? I see the icon - do I have to post them on the web first? Like at Photobucket or something? *sigh* - maybe I'll have to learn a new skill.  Are there different ways to do it though?  Val, upload images? Do you mean post an image to the board here? It can be done by using this code: [ i m g ] imagelocation [ / i m g ]. (Get rid of all spaces in the brackets). If you mean uploading images to the board itself, then I might not be able to help you, because I have never uploaded images to the message board. |

Val, just use Photobucket. www.photobucket.comThe accounts are free there. Register one and upload whatever you want from your computer. Use jpg. format - it is smaller than the others. Make sure the file size is below 1 Mb. Better make it around 250 Kb - quite enough for screen viewing, even for maps - and it uploads faster. Then once you uploaded the image, its icon appears and below are three codes. Use the "image code", copy it and post on our site. It is simple, really.

Greetings all! It's been a while since I've had much time for TORC these days so I haven't been able to post in here lately. Thank you for reading my story. I sure did put in a lot of time on it (about 2 and a half years!) so I hope it paid off. After re-reading parts of it I feel like I could do better now in certain sections. Particularly in the first half. But that's okay. I'll leave it as it is for now. Perhaps someday I'll go back and revise it...As for my second ME story, well, it will have to wait a while. I still have a good idea for a Numenor epic that I want to work on at some point but that, too, will have to wait. Right now I am busy at work attempting to write an actual historical fiction piece that I hope to (or should I say 'dream' about) publishing. It's great fun, I'll tell you, but I dread the actual process of luring an agent and publisher my way! But first I have to actually write the darned thing
Thanks for the invite, Gordis, but I am far too busy with real life to do much RPing. But I'm glad your Arnor RPG is a success
