Wauu, I was too hasty, Earniel! Photoshop manip is fast, but artwork is soo much cooler! Tell us which Arthedain banner you prefer. Elendilmir was difficult to depict. We have to choose one. I like the first more than the others.

Gordis - For Arthedain, I like the first also, but can we also see what it looks like to switch it around, with the crown above the stars?

In terms of the Prince of Baranduin, I'm not sure a ship makes sense. Tharbad is the port of Cardolan, and, at least in Valandil's history, Tharbad is not part of the traditional territory of the Princes of Baranduin.

Duilin - sure, just tell me what you prefer for the princes.
Val, crown above an upturned, U-shaped arch of stars - or a normal one?

I am glad you liked the banners, Angmar. But what design for the Angmar banner do you prefer? What is red there and what is black? And what about the crown - I think it should be of steel, thus almost white? Give me some ideas, please! Gordis, I have drawn my basic ideas for the Angmarian sigil. Feel free to modify it and make it look better. I am not an artist.

Not an artist, Angmar? You must be joking. Great work!
I LOVE this tower. The only thing I would have changed is to make the crown taller.

Arthedain - I mean a 'normal' arch I guess - just try switching the two elements around. Maybe the crown has to get a bit smaller so it doesn't get too vertical. Cardolan / Barandion - Duillin may be right about Baranduin. But maybe the 'ship' banner could be Cardolan? It might speak to an early goal of becoming a sea power. Or maybe just a different banner? I like the look of it though - maybe it's just a former banner. Also - since it's only been a couple years since they lost their last king, I don't know if they'd change it - ie, remove a part that signified the king. Angmar - You know what that banner made me think of? The WK at Minas Tirith - when his hood is down and you see the body below and the crown above. ;D Maybe even play that up: like Gordis suggests, make the crown a little taller, and maybe re-proportion the parts of the castle to suggest (at least to those of us 'in the know) the upper portions of a human figure below the crown. So - maybe crown taller & narrower, larger portion of castle just a bit wider - with maybe low towers to set off the ends. Dare we add two red stars for eyes?

I guess "two red stars for eyes" would be a give away. ;D Even the dumb tarks may start to suspect something... Here are some suggestions: A B C D Plus the Original Angmar's version posted above . Choose!!!

Val here are the Arthedain banners as you suggested - If I have understood you correctly. But I think they are uglier than the previous three. And here is one with Elendilmir a bit smaller

Choose!!! I like "D" - it looks like the WK is wearing a red turtleneck sweater! ;D And... his heart is an open door! Let me think over the Arthedain ones... what do the rest of you think on those?
