Wow, I have lots of posts today!!!
More thoughts - I think we need to add some chapters to the whole CC scene - too long otherwise. Maybe something like "deaths and dying" for the horse killing and Caelen's mourning. And I'm trying to get those chapter titles in, but am still having trouble figuring out where they go. I think we need to number each post somehow, so we can say "move post 23 to chapter 4" or something like that - is that OK if I go and edit post ID numbers in? What do you guys think?

Just a quick reply , Rian. What you say about re-arranging the posts and moving posts around to make the narrative more fluent has already been made - for all the text of the Runnings. I did it back in autumn and then sent the text to Angmar who beta-ed it and sent me back. Recently I included chapter numbers and such. So, I have the text (a long file in Word). I can send it to you for checking and correcting - just tell me what E-mail to use. Also if you rewrite the second post, please repeat it in full in the Discussion thread and notify me - because otherwise the text will not be corrected in the Word version that we shall use for posting the story on other sites. The same applies to the mistakes you find - sure do correct them in the posts on this site, but to correct the Word file of the story you have to notify me. If you want to try your hand at rearranging posts etc. please, start with Part II Intrigues and Sorcery. No work has been done there yet. So, better wait till you get the text and work on it. Your input will be much appreciated.

Yea, your E-mail is hidden, Rian. Please send me your address by PM - I will send you the big file with the story. Then you change what you like and highlight the changes.

: : : Chapter XIX. The King's Private Counsil : : : Just one note - this should probably be "Council". This is probably a tough one for non-native English speakers (and many natives too, from what I see all over MB's... which probably adds to the confusion). Here they are though: council - is a group of people - or the meeting of a group of people. counsel - is advice that is given to someone (if a noun), or the giving of that advice (if a verb). There's no "counsil" - but I understand how confusing that can all get. Especially since I think there are also "Councillors" (members of a council) and "Counsellors" (who give counsel).

Val, thank you - that was most helpful. I knew there was alteration of e and i in counsel - Council - but I was not aware of s-c alteration. Now I will know. Please, next time you appear, read the Prologue.

Re: the Counsil question, I always knew about council and counsel, but I always thought Counsil was used here as an older spelling or something, and so never objected... lol.
Gordis, while you're at it, could you send me the text of Runnings that you're giving Rian? My email address is billi1970s@yahoo.com.

Val, thank you - that was most helpful. I knew there was alteration of e and i in counsel - Council - but I was not aware of s-c alteration. Now I will know. Please, next time you appear, read the Prologue. You're welcome. I probably wouldn't have said anything if it was just us - except now we're looking to go "public". Rian - I don't know, maybe it is an older spelling. I honestly didn't do any research. I just saw one form of it in a chapter title and thought I should mention it now. And Gordis - as you can see, I got around to that reading.
