OK - posted! Tell me if I over-played, or if you desire edits. We'll have to find a good avatar. I still have to Avatar Beleg... and we need some for all those Cardolan people! (and T&D) Oh Gordis - I did 3-4 small edits on your previous Gimilbeth post - just correcting either a typo or something grammatical.

In terms of my characters, I'd like to keep Duilin, Thurisind, and Galphant, at least. Probably Aegnor as well, unless someone has any particularly strong desire for him. Orogost I could be persuaded to part with as well, although I enjoy writing for him.
The rest are available - Amdír, Orogost's dissatisfied son; Galphant's son Herunarth; and the remaining members of the council - Belecthor, Adrahil, and Hador. Adrahil is particularly shadowy at the moment.

Herunarth is bound to play a prominent role in the future - in the actual rescue of the princesses. I wouldn't part with him, Duilin! And who will play Malvegil, guys? - I don't want to write the whole interview all by myself. Val - nice post. "Steeped in Dark Arts".... . Ahh, so Gimilbeth had seen Incanus? Was it in Umbar? Some details, please. Thanks for the corrections . In your own post, Val, in the first paragraph there is "thread" that likely should be "threat". Hmm, what to tell next - who cares about those Halflings anyway?

I'm hoping Duilin and Thurisind will be involved in the rescue in some capacity - the experienced NCO types always get deleted from the historical record. I'm happy to keep Herunarth, though, if nobody else is interested - let me think on it a bit. Either Beleg or Herunarth should probably do a post about their encounter with each other on this night, I think.
Also - does Serenoli or Rían want to do a post continuing on from my my Duilin one? Or should I continue? Also, there ought perhaps be a post reporting on the Aegnor/Barund discussion - again, I can do it from Aegnor's side, but perhaps someone wants to do a Barund post.
So much going on all of a sudden.

You do fantastic jobs on all your characters, Duilin. I am not sure what Angmar would like to have, but I don't think Herunarth the dashing youth is his type anyway. I hope you will keep him, Duilin and write a post on his meeting with Beleg. Angmar, what would you like: the talkative old councilor Hador? The mysterious Adrahil? Or maybe Barund? Or another barkeeper - I love your barkeepers, Angmar! Or some quite unusual for you character? I have written a very short post - Gimilbeth's reply, to advance things a bit.

Hmm, what to tell next - who cares about those Halflings anyway? Gandalf will drop the subject, but he won't start a new one. Someone else can pick up the discussion, or the dinner-talk can wind down. But what does Gimilbeth think of what Gandalf said... about the perils of 'dabbling'? I thought YOU might want to figure out how Gimilbeth met (or only saw? knew of?) Incanus. We only know that this is the name given to Gandalf in the south. In RL, today's Christmas Eve, and tomorrow is Christmas. That may put a damper on my posting availability. But Merry Christmas, all!

Gordis - 'thread' was the word I intended there. In this case, the usage indicates a common link that connects the two situations. For instance, Celebrindol is saying that the Hillmen appear to be a common thread between the makeup of the land of Angmar, and the troubles in Rhudaur. Oh... I so WISH Gandalf had a pipe to pull on in this conversation. But smoking won't have been invented for another - what 1200-1500 years? ;D I've never been certain of that avatar - but maybe. Gordis - I can probably find the post where you give nice clear instructions on inserting avatars - but could you direct me to it (and perhaps Duilin - if he needs it as well)? Or bump it? Duilin - it's really quite easy, if you just follow what Gordis has laid out. Also Gordis - I hate to ask you for more work, but would you be willing to find a few likely Gandalf pictures? You're pretty good at all this stuff, and I have a hard time getting around to learning.
