The Council proper is just five - Galphant, Orogost, Adrahil, Belecthor, and Hador. In addition, there's Amdír, Aegnor, and Herunarth, of people who are above servant status. I'm going to guess that there was little in the way of a military escort. The trip is entirely within Cardolan's territory, and there's not been any particular dangers of late. I'd guess no more than 30 or so soldiers, including Galphant's private soldiers, some of whom we've already met getting their asses whupped by Duilin and Thurisind. As far as servants, I'm going to guess that each part of the group would have maybe a dozen, max. So that's - yeah, about 60. I imagine that Orogost and Annundil are going to have some fun conversations. I'll say that my impression is that the Cardolan delegation has no intention of staying for the whole winter, though - Amon Sûl is relatively close to the main population centers of Cardolan, so they can easily head back home - it's, what, only a few days journey by horse from Bree?

I'm waiting for all the intervening stuff to be written before I try to write about Aegnor's arrival at Amon Sûl.

It's just a case of the winter blah's. It will go away when the days start getting longer.

Hi you guys . I wish I could write more... but real life has been very busy all of a sudden. I think the load will decrease somewhat by next Monday... until then, I am going to be very very busy But, after that, I have a nice long one-month holiday, so I hope to get very productive then. I'm feeling less guilty about my lack of posts for the last couple of weeks after seeing how all of you seem to stricken by a sudden onset of writer's block as well ;D

It was not so much about the block, as about beeing very busy. But I have finally finished Gimilbeth's post in the placeholder #12! Go me! Please read and edit, if needed. I hope someone will continue - maybe you, Val could post for Annundil or Beleg or Celebrindol? Also, when you have time, Serenoli, please post for Hurgon - I miss him. There are three placeholders available to describe the rest of the dinner #13, 14 and 15.

Nice post, Gor - I liked the "found herself replying to something" concept - been there, done that!
