Gordis and Val, I just tried several times and I can't get the site to load at all. Every time I click the brown button, I get an error message. I think the site must be having difficulties right now.

Its a tough time being the Chieftain of the Dunedain with all the incursions of orcs and wargs and the Long Winter and such....  Actually, in the fantasy world we commonly call 'real life', I've been dealing with government bureaucracy, finding a place to move to, getting ready to move, getting ready to go to daughter's high school graduation, etc. etc. I see the site is #2 barely. Gotta crank on them votes because that other site is crap in my opinion. |

Yes, posted the "journal" I posted on another website. I'll add to it regularly. I'll try and drop by more since things are going to be settling down for me soon.
It looks like this site is handing out all kinds of whoopass this month! I myself drop in for a vote every time I casually check out this site to see if there has been any updates.

Don't forget to keep voting. ;D We've been ahead the whole month, and were lately 20+ votes up on Planet Tolkien (I've seen leads of 22, 23 votes in just the past few days). But when I voted this morning, we were just 15 up. It'd be a shame to surrender our lead here in the final stretch! |

It's a new month, so remember to get back on track with the voting. We had a lot fewer votes in July than in June (we averaged less than 2 per day). We were a distant second to one of the other boards, and almost lost the race for second toward the end. Vote, Vote, VOTE! |

I vote for us every single day, if I'm in town. The past few days, I've noticed that I don't get the intermediate screen that shows the two options of 'Vote and Enter' or 'Enter without Voting'. It just takes me straight to the vote tallies. Also - I think we're stuck on 74 votes. When I voted yesterday, I wasn't sure if it had been 74 the day before - but it was 74 after I voted then. Today - it still shows us with 74 votes. Is anyone more familiar with that site, and knows what's going on? |
