Val, I noticed they have been doing some remodeling to the Tolkien Top 100. I don't know what other revisions besides the monthly vote count they plan.

Wow - looks like someone from here was engaged in a crazy voting contest with someone from "The Two Towers" site. And now the Tolkien 100 Site has added a "Gateway" to prevent cheating. What happened?  You can't engage in that *sigh* - only one vote per day is counted. And yes- they now count per month. Looks more impressive. Vote, guys!  |

Wow - the voters from "The Two Towers" have really gotten it together... and they're blowing us away!  We're still a pretty strong second. But we need to get more organized and consistent on the voting if we're going to re-take first place. I'm disappointed I didn't discover how to do this earlier (just press the brown button... press the brown button... once per day... part of the routine... work the brown button, baby!). And I feel kind of bad because now that I AM voting, and aware of the votes... we're always second or third.  |

I just checked, and the Two Towers people have 136 votes. Val is right. We need to get more organized and consistant. We are trailing them by about 50 votes.

They might just be with more people. After all, we may have got a whole league of role play characters in our Northen Kingdom, but in the end we're only about half a dozen real people.  Second ain't bad after all. |

Not really. Of course, the other site has more members, but if everyone of us votes once a day it will give 6x30=180 votes a month. The first site has only 140. Work the brown button, guys and gals!! And please vote for us, you lurkers, who come here to read the RPG. There are always some of you around - a cheering sight. Thank you for your interest and help us, please! |

OK, I'll "work the button" for you guys. I don't care where we are, because I just like being with you guys and writing a story with you, but since some of you care, then I'll "do the button" But - how do I do it? I've given it a try several times, and I'm not sure if I'm voting. From our home page, I press the button, then it puts me to that gateway page, then what do I click on to vote? Just our picture, which then sends us here? |

I've been second best nearly all my life, you get used to it. And it's not like our role-play is going to be OMGsomuchbetter or OMGsomuchmoreattractive if we make number one. We will just look like people who've got nothing else to do than push buttons all day. |
