That sounds good to me. I'll be getting back home at the end of October, and should have reliable internet access from then on, so I'll be able to write more around then. Given the slow pace of things, I imagine that'll work out okay for starting things at Amon Sûl.
I have the possibility of a couple more posts before my characters get to Amon Sûl (possibly an Orogost post, maybe a Galphant one, probably another Duilin/Thurisind one). But these could easily go into the Amon Sûl thread.
Date however you like. The Cardolanis arriving l ast works well for me, since then I don't have to worry about it too much.

Great, Duilin. So if Val and others do not object, so be it!
I have made a rough estimation of the size of the "Perilous Journeys" part. It is 213 Word pages, 157800 words - which will make about 50 chapters of the usual size. So it is twice as big as the Shadow I or II . We are a prolific lot! ;D

Angmar, but it was on November 4 when the Priest made his extravagant demands and the same day -Nov 4 Alassar reported to the King and ordered the priest killed "tomorrow" (that is on November 5). On November 5 Alassar sent the priest a message requesting audience, then spoke with Agannalo, then got the reply from the priest and in the late evening poisoned Adunabal. Therefore there is only one thing to change - the date of your latest post - to November 5. Or am I missing something? *puzzled* Gordis, looks like I jumped ahead two days rather than one. I will change that now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I have just made a new poll to select a name for the Northern thread. The previous poll did not list one of the suggestions. Please vote so that there will be a consensus on the title. If you don't see any titles on the poll that you like, suggest another.

Earniel, I am afraid it will take us long to update the Characters thread. But if you want an account of the characters in the future Amon Sul thread, you have but to read the last page of Intrigues and Sorcery. You will find the accounts of the Arthedain and Cardolan companies here: Ah, thanks! That will already help me along.

Don't mention it, I did nothing. By the way, I admire your courage, Earniel - to start a new RPG on Entmoot proves you are as tough as Turin and Beren combined! ;D And you have almost got both BB and Lotesse in there!

Courage doesn't quite enter in to it, I'm afraid. I probably have no idea just what I've gotten myself into. I've never done it on my own, so it can still crash and burn. My biggest fear actually is that I won't be able to keep people's interest. But I've said for a long time that I'd love to get higher quality in the Entmoot RPG-forum again, and I realised that it's not going to come overnight and that I might have to start it myself. I've made sure I'm in a better position now. I've established myself as game master and intend to have the final word on disputes. The fact that I have mod powers to back things up does make things easier. Lotesse backed out this morning, by the way, after I said a Nazgul, even her less-evil version of them, wouldn't work in a band of heroes on a good quest. It remains to be seen if BB will be around much.

;D Gordis becomes so witty at every mention of our little Viniglaen! And this time you hit it so spot-on... Earniel, I checked out your rpg and it is a very good idea you had for it. I hope you have a lot of fun with it! Oh, and Gordis & Angmar, great coupla posts killing off Udunbal. Good writing.
